"Call the Zionists what they are: Nazi criminals" -- Auschwitz survivor
Auschwitz survivor, Dutch theoretical physicist and human rights activist HAJO MEYER (died at 90 in 2014, both his parents were killed at Auschwitz):
<< “If we want to stay really human beings, we must get up and call the Zionists what they are: Nazi criminals,” Meyer said. The hate of the Jews by the Germans “was less deeply rooted than the hate of the Palestinians by the Israeli Jews,” he observed. “The brainwashing of the Jewish Israeli populations is going on for over sixty years. They cannot see a Palestinian as a human being.”
While discussing Europe’s response to Israel’s policies, Hajo said that Europe should respond with “a much more large scale boycott of Israel” than a ban on settlement products. If we Europeans pretend to hold high the flag of humanity with what is happening in Gaza, Israel should be outcasted by us.”
I asked him if he had a message for the Palestinians, Israelis or human rights activists.
“My message for the Palestinians is that they should not give up their fight,” he replied. “If they give up, they might lose their self-esteem with the ongoing humiliations by the Israeli Nazis. Fight with human means. It is justified to show to the Israeli Zionists that you are a force to reckon with. Fight with stones, with weapons. Yes, also with weapons. If you don’t fight, you lose your self-esteem and will not be respected by the Israelis.”
“If we Western democratic societies don’t support the Palestinians in their fight, we must feel ashamed if the Palestinians are annihilated. The US and the European Union must show their teeth,” he added. >> --LINK
And this from the heavily-Israel-lobby-patrolled Wikipedia:
<< Meyer became politically active, including as director of A Different Jewish Voice. He wrote Het einde van het Jodendom (The End of Judaism) in 2003, which accuses Israel of abusing the Holocaust to justify crimes against the Palestinians. He was a member of the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network. He participated in the 2011 "Never Again – For Anyone" tour. He claimed Zionism predates fascism, that Zionists and fascists had a history of cooperation (Nazi/Zionist cooperation was the subject of 51 Documents: Zionist Collaboration with the Nazis, which was collected and edited by Lenni Brenner), charging, among other things, that Israel wants to foment anti-Semitism in the world to encourage more Jews to migrate to Israel.[4]
Meyer spoke in favor of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel.[5] Meyer was a member of the Dutch GreenLeft. >>
And directly from interview:
<< Now the world is silent while the Jews, or- the Israelis- harass, humiliate and steal away land from the Palestinians. And the world is silent, and I want to awake the world, because any criticism on the policies of Israel, is hampered and made impossible by a terrible trick and crime of Israeli propaganda, that any criticism on the politics of Israel comes out and is induced by anti-Semitic feelings. >> --LINK

Can the principle of freedom of expression be used in propaganda that supports censorship?
![]() |
| Stephen Pollard |
By Denis Rancourt, PhD
Yes it can. Here is a good example.
In this article, "[a]s editor of the country’s leading Jewish newspaper, The Jewish Chronicle," Stephen Pollard, pays lip service to freedom of expression by being critical of “snowflakes”.
Snowflakes are not the state. Snowflakes do not use lethal violence to silence dissidents and political participation in the affairs of global and regional state aggressors. Rather, snowflakes are a social phenomenon that results from decades of evisceration of the state educational system by design, away from independent thought and towards emotional malleability.
The snowflake culture is nurtured by an exploitative political class, and that relation can lead the state to pass laws that degrade freedom of expression, especially when the repressive laws also prevent political challenge to the (for now) dominant correctness constituency.
In presenting snowflakes as the nexus of suppression of speech, Pollard achieves two primary propaganda goals:
1. He opens with the pervasively promoted Israel-lobby meme and political device that The Holocaust is a “unique evil”, as though this were a given law of nature. Actually, “The Holocaust” is not a unique evil and is extensively used in propaganda and extortion schemes, as conclusively established in Professor Norman Finkelstein’s landmark 2000 book “The Holocaust Industry”.
2. He covers up by omission and substitution the Israel-lobby-driven current aggressive state attacks against freedom of expression and political participation rights: criminalization of criticism of the very state of Israel, cast as anti-Semitic “hate speech”; criminalization of so-called Holocaust denial (any questioning of historical events surrounding the Nazi holocaust); and statutory civil liability for supporting the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) civil-society campaign against Israeli occupation (e.g.).
Mission accomplished.
So, while many Western states are prosecuting and jailing ordinary citizens for their beliefs and expression, as “hate speech” or as civil campaigns allegedly motivated by anti-Semitism, in Canada, France, Germany, the USA… Pollard invites us to have an emotional reaction against “snowflakes” because snowflakes are silly. In doing so, he quotes Orwell.
Snowflakes don’t scare me. They will be offended and insulted back into reality if and when reality imposes itself. State laws and state militarism to dominate domestic and foreign populations on the other hand are precisely the instruments that lead to “unique evils”.

The X-PHOBIA CATASTROPHE must be reversed
Opinion / Denis Rancourt
Beyond a simple political-correctness meltdown, North American society is in the midst of an X-phobia catastrophe.
North America is following a RECIPE FOR SOCIETAL DISASTER: Let governments, institutions, and special-interest lobbies make the definitions of racism, antisemitism, misogyny, X-phobia... as broad as possible and then prosecute everyone for expressed-opinion and inferred-belief violations and sentence them to economic and social exclusion in as many areas of activity as possible.
SOLUTION: Actual freedom of expression with strong protections against the punishing governments, institutions, and special-interest lobbies.
Racism of personal opinion is not a crime. Inferred individual character inadequacies must not be punished by governments and their enabled institutions and corporations.
Instead, concentrate on the physical racism-etc of governments and their enabled institutions and corporations, such as war, genocide, economic apartheid, class-based persecution... Work for more actual democracy, not more societal exclusion and apartheids.
ISRAEL: The whole "criticism of Israel is antisemitism" circus is a textbook example of how a powerful, stratified, funded, organized special-interest lobby (Israel lobby, promoting Israel as the main Middle East foreign-policy enforcer of the USA-allied system) generates propriety crimes to be used against political organizers (BDS) and opinion leaders.

Whether Trump or Obama: AIPAC houses (Congress, Senate) must be reined in
Opinion / Denis Rancourt
In the face of the reality of emerging Eurasia, seen on every front including the Middle East, the USA has two nonexclusive options:
Nice to see option-1 showing the top of its bald head every once in a while [1].
This had to happen: war with Iran would be a gamble that could end USA dominance in the Middle East.
The big boys of the real deep state needed to show themselves and clear out some of the Israel ideologues and war mongers.
The AIPAC houses (Congress, Senate) need to be reined in or the whole hegemony thing could seriously go to hell.

In the face of the reality of emerging Eurasia, seen on every front including the Middle East, the USA has two nonexclusive options:
- Act in a reasonable and responsible manner to avoid the next conflicts that could accelerate its downfall, or
- Push ambitious civil-unrest and military campaigns for perceived regional gains or to satisfy rogue allies such as Israel.
Nice to see option-1 showing the top of its bald head every once in a while [1].

WAR WITH IRAN - TRUMP INSANITY
Trump is turning out to be a dangerous clown, one that has been a gift for climate and political-correctness critics, but a dangerous clown nonetheless.
The USA is truly frightening, no matter which clown it puts in the window. But the shift towards a more loving USA embrace of Saudi and Israel may well be a preparation for war against Iran, under the pretext of fighting terrorism. Meanwhile, ISIS is a USA creation funded by Saudi, aided by Israel, fought by Iran!
Israel wants a coalition war against Iran more than anything, and Clinton had promised it. Trump was elected to make American great at home... Now he may go along with the most murderous plan of all?
The prospect of war with Iran under Trump, is not just more clowning. It is the most horrific "next step" imaginable. Trump can't show that box of candy and then simply put it away on a high shelf without a real political fight. There is no evidence that Trump could mount or win such a political fight against the deep state and Israeli influence.
A war with Iran would be Trump's legacy of maniacal criminality. If he is using that prospect to leverage the creation of a Palestinian pseudo-state, then he is truly a nutcase. God help us.

US “sue Saudis for 911 law” would be a geopolitical tectonic shift because…
New law approved by Congress on September 9 violates international law, would destabilize the US regime
By Denis G. Rancourt
We live in particularly unstable and dangerous times. The US behemoth is forced to adjust to an increasingly multipolar world, as Eurasia and alliances such as BRICS coalesce.
By Denis G. Rancourt
We live in particularly unstable and dangerous times. The US behemoth is forced to adjust to an increasingly multipolar world, as Eurasia and alliances such as BRICS coalesce.
The coup in Brazil, tripling US expenditures for suppression in Latin
America, Israel’s frantic genocidal
pace, the NATO build up to intimidate Russia, Syria’s miracle resistance
against US-desired “regime change”, Trump’s nationalistic impulses, and a
Philippine president’s angry words… are all signs of the changing world.
The US regime did not need a
domestic crisis that threatens its geopolitical posture, but it certainly
deserves one.
I don’t mean pipeline
resistance or Black Lives Matter. Those can be bulldozed and bought out without
much difficulty. And the occupying police gang is not about to be displaced by
any rival. No, I mean the “sue Saudis for 911 law” crisis: a real
shit-could-hit-the-fan doozy.
Let me explain. For this, I
need to present the following elements: Relevant international law concepts,
present US law that violates the state immunity principle, characteristics of
the new “sue Saudis for 911 law”, and the three reasons that this lawmakers’
project is a threat to the US regime.

Will York University in Toronto go along with this latest attack by organized groups?
I am very concerned by these and all such select attacks against employees, especially in the education sector, based on an employee's expression outside of work.
I have reviewed the posts of Nikolaos Balaskas, which are the pretext for this particular attack, and the posts are harmless. The posts are also buried in the distant FB Timeline and are thus difficult to access. If The Canadian Jewish News was truthful about its pretense of harm, then it would not repeat and amplify the said posts on its website. Its article appears to be boasting about the influence that can get an employee "investigated" and possibly fired.
Such attacks as this one, IMO, are strategic attacks to create a continuous propaganda that would give the false impression that antisemitism is a larger-than-reality and growing societal problem. Clearly, this and other such campaigns are (expressly) driven by influential organizations that have the agenda of defending Israeli Middle East policies in the Canadian public opinion and among Canadian lawmakers.
Very disturbing violations of civil rights and freedoms. Will York University go along with this?

Keeping the Arabs Divided --Gowans blog
From The Bannerman Report, written in 1907 by British prime minister Henry Campbell Bannerman:

“There are people (the Arabs, Editor’s Note) who control spacious territories teeming with manifest and hidden resources. They dominate the intersections of world routes. Their lands were the cradles of human civilizations and religions. These people have one faith, one language, one history and the same aspirations. No natural barriers can isolate these people from one another … if, per chance, this nation were to be unified into one state, it would then take the fate of the world into its hands and would separate Europe from the rest of the world. Taking these considerations seriously, a foreign body should be planted in the heart of this nation to prevent the convergence of its wings in such a way that it could exhaust its powers in never-ending wars. It could also serve as a springboard for the West to gain its coveted objects.”

A response by McGill Professors to Principal Suzanne Fortier’s condemnation of BDS
A response by McGill Professors to Principal Suzanne Fortier’s condemnation of BDS
As
McGill professors committed to justice and equity, we strongly disagree
with Principal Suzanne Fortier’s official response on behalf of the
university administration to the recent Students’ Society of McGill
University (SSMU) motion in support of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions
(BDS) against Israel and the subsequent on-line process which failed to
ratify this vote. Her email response, sent to all McGill students and
faculty, came moments after the results of the on-line process were
announced, and echoed the disappointing and ill-informed motion passed
by the Canadian Parliament in condemning the growing BDS movement. For
Principal Fortier to denounce a movement defending the rights of
Palestinians against those who are oppressing them is in fact what
“flies in the face of tolerance and respect"—not the BDS movement
itself. The call for BDS, drawing upon lessons learned from earlier
international movements against apartheid South Africa, indeed urges
universities to end institutional ties with institutions funded and
sponsored by the Israeli state, and which are complicit in the
Occupation and violations of international law. The BDS movement is a
measured, non-violent and principled civil society response to life
under occupation and colonialism when a people’s basic rights are
violated and denied.
The
BDS call demands “tolerance and respect” for Palestinians--something
that they have been denied by the state of Israel. It is precisely
because Palestinians are not afforded the same rights as other peoples
that BDS is necessary. Palestinians do not have equal rights to
education, and are regularly denied their academic freedom. But they are
also denied freedom of movement, freedom of association, and even their
lives. "Freedom, equity, inclusiveness and the exchange of views and
ideas in responsible, open discourse”, which are the core principles of
McGill University as stated by Suzanne Fortier, are precisely what
Palestinians are asking for with this call.
If
these core principles do indeed guide the McGill community, it is our
responsibility to support a grassroots movement initiated by the vast
majority of Palestinian civil society. The demands of the BDS movement
are simple. Israel should comply with international law by: (1) ending
its occupation and colonization of Arab lands and dismantling the Wall;
(2) recognizing the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens
of Israel to full equality; and (3) respecting, protecting and promoting
the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and
properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194. When Israel complies with
international law in these ways, there will be no more need for BDS.
Our
mission as educators is to advance learning, to create and disseminate
knowledge by offering our students the best possible education. We
believe that upholding the highest international standards in teaching,
research and scholarship, as well as service to local and international
communities, means standing up for what is right when called upon to do
so--locally, by supporting students who are working for justice for
Palestine, and internationally, by responding to the call made by
Palestinian civil society.
While
we respect the freedom of expression of all members of our community,
including the right of Principal Suzanne Fortier to publicly condemn the
BDS movement, we resolve to steadfastly continue to support BDS and the
work of our students at McGill who will carry on and continue to build
this struggle. In this case, the McGill administration, like the
Canadian government, is on the wrong side of history. The Canadian
Parliament’s motion on BDS does not act in our name. As McGill
professors, we also declare now and will continue to state that if this
is the McGill Administration’s response to the BDS movement, it also
does not act in our name.

Canadian Members of Parliament Vote in Express Contempt for Democracy, in Support of Israel's Apartheid Regime
On February 22, 2016, 68% of the federal members of parliament in Canada's House of Commons voted FOR this motion:
It does not appear to have crossed their minds that they were thereby subverting the freedom of political participation, democracy, and Canada's constitution. (Although a few were visibly tormented: VIDEO.)
This was a truly historic vote. And we must never forget how "our" representatives voted (or did not vote):
A = absent or abstained / NO = voted against the motion / * = voted for the motion
That, given Canada and Israel share a long history of friendship as well as economic and diplomatic relations, the House reject the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which promotes the demonization and delegitimization of the State of Israel, and call upon the government to condemn any and all attempts by Canadian organizations, groups or individuals to promote the BDS movement, both here at home and abroad.
